Papaya Leaf Powder-has been used to treat various illnesses, such as dengue (a viral disease), fever, asthma, colic, beriberi, aids digestive system, jaundice, it again used in treatment of arthritis, cholesterol levels as it is a good source of Fiber. Sanskrit Śloka

पपाया मधुरा तिक्ती दीपनी पाचनी स्मृता।
कृमिघ्नी मृदुविरेकी यकृत्प्लीहापहाऽग्र्या॥

Meaning

Papayā is sweet with a touch of bitterness; it kindles digestion, digests Āma, destroys parasites, produces mild purgation, and benefits liver and spleen disorders.
