Sanskrit Śloka

बकुलः कषायः शीतश्च स्तम्भनो रक्तनाशनः।
मुखरोगेषु दन्तेषु प्रयोज्यो भिषजां मतः॥

Meaning

Bakula, astringent and cooling, exerts stambhana action, arrests bleeding, and is recommended by physicians for diseases of the mouth and teeth.
