Lemongrass powder

Lemongrass powder– The plant leaves are used as a fragrance and flavouring agent and in folk medicine as an antispasmodic, hypotensive, anticonvulsant, analgesic, antiemetic, antitussive, antirheumatic, antiseptic and treatment for nervous and gastrointestinal disorders and fevers.

Classical hallmark: Pradhāna Dīpana–Pācana–Jvaraghna–Krimighna dravya — valued in Jvara (especially Āma- and Viṣama-jvara), Ajīrṇa, Ādhmāna, Krimi, and Vātakaphaja disorders; leaf (tṛṇa) is chiefly employed.

Meaning

Bhūtṛṇa kindles digestive fire, digests Āma, alleviates fever and pain, and pacifies Kapha–Vāta.
