Neem leaf  Powder is famous in Ayurvedic texts for having an almost magical effect on the skin. It works as an antifungal, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory agent antihyperglycaemic, antiulcer, antimalarial, antibacterial, antiviral, antioxidant, antimutagenic and anticarcinogenic properties, It is effective in treating eczema, ringworm and acne.

Classical hallmark: Pradhāna Tikta–Kuṣṭhaghna–Raktaprasādana dravya — foremost in Kuṣṭha (skin diseases), Raktapitta, Krimi, Jvara, Vraṇa, and Pitta–Kapha disorders; leaf, bark, seed oil, and flower are employed according to indication.

Meaning
