Kat karanj- seeds have long been used in traditional medicine in treating symptoms and ailments, including abdominal pain, colic, leprosy, fever, edema, and malaria. It is also used as a uterine stimulant, and to cleanse the uterus during the postpartum period. The seeds are astringent and have been used to control contagious diseases, treat inflammation, hydrocoele, skin diseases The seed sprouts have been used for tumors.
