Description
Shatavari Root Powder
Shatavari Root Powder (Asparagus racemosus) is a traditional Ayurvedic herbal powder prepared from the tuberous roots of the Shatavari plant. It has been valued in Ayurveda for centuries and is widely included in classical herbal formulations. Traditionally, Shatavari is appreciated for its nourishing qualities and its role in supporting overall wellness as part of a balanced lifestyle.
In Ayurvedic literature, Shatavari is described as a Pradhāna Rasāyana and Pittahara herb and is traditionally incorporated into formulations prepared according to Ayurvedic principles. The tuberous root (Mūla/Kanda) is regarded as the principal medicinal part and has long been used in classical Ayurvedic wellness practices.
Its historical use in Ayurveda represents traditional knowledge and should not be interpreted as evidence of proven medical efficacy.
