Description

Sharpankha is a well-known plant in Ayurveda and named “Sarwa wranvishapaka” for its property to heal wounds, the plant is anthelmintic, alexiteric, restorative and antipyretic. Traditionally it is practiced for leprosy, impotency, ulcers, asthma, Tumors, dyspepsia, hemorrhoids, syphilis gonorrhea, rheumatism, enlargement of kidney and spleen as well as diseases of the liver, heart, and blood

शरफङ्खा प्लीहघ्नी यकृद्रोगनिवारिणी।

Meaning

Śarphaṅkhā alleviates splenic and hepatic disorders, is foremost in edema and abdominal diseases, and pacifies blood disorders.
